The first three videos from Firefox Flicks, the second annual SpreadFirefox community marketing effort, are now live! Over 280+ submissions have been received so far and the contest doesn’t even end until Friday. You’ll get a chance to see all of them over the coming weeks as they are showcased on the new Firefox Flicks website. Asa and Cheryl deserve special recognition for their extraordinary work in making this contest come together.

It’s a pity the videos on Firefox Flicks require some Quicktime plugin to see them. Isn’t Flash a batter way to show videos in?

Please, anything but Flash. Flash hurts people. Would offering multiple formats be a good solution instead? (WMV, maybe? I dunno what Linux likes.)
